Top 150 Girls XC Teams - All State Team Scores Todd Grasley Sep 08, 2015

The Pine Crest girls XC team debuted at the Martin County Under the Lights Invitational. The Panthers scored 23 points to win the 1A/2A race. They sit at number two on our list of top teams behind Winter Park who ran their JV squad at the Astronaut Invitational. Check out the top teams after week two!

For the second week in a row, the Belen Jesuit boys are the top team in the state. The Wolverines won the Estero DDD Invitational with an impressive thirty points, placing three in the top eight spots and all five in the top twenty. Check out the top teams after week two!

The 2015 Estero DDD Invite will have a special meaning this year. Prior to the start of the meet the Village of Estero will proclaim September 5th as Jeff Sommer Day. Coach Sommer who passed away at the state track meet in May was the patriarch of the Wildcat family. His 3D mantra of dedication, discipline, and desire will live on Saturday at Estero Community Park as over 45 teams make the trek to South Florida! The Miami-Dade County Fair & Expo, along with the Miami-Dade Youth Sports Championship Program, came together this year for the second year in a row to put on another great Dade County Youth Fair Cross Country Championship. Featuring close to 40 high schools for this nearly 40 year old competition, this county meet wasn't anything other than hot, humid, and extremely draining in typical Miami and Larry & Penny Thompson Park fashion.
