Emily lettered in both cross country and track & field in the 6th grade. She placed 13 at the State Class A x-country championships by run a PR of 19:33. In track & field she placed 8th in the 3200 at the Class A championships with a time of 11:33. She holds the school record in the 1600 -5:25, 3200 - 11:33, and 5000 m - 19:33.
Emily has once again lettered in x-c and track & field as a 7th grader. She had a very good 7th grade season finishing 12th at the state A x-c meet and running a pr of 18:54 at the Lely Invitational. In track & field she placed 4th in the 3200 at the Class A State meet and ran an 11:26. She had a pr about a month earlier at the florida Relays where she ran an 11:22.
