5th Annual St. Cloud Track and Field

Invitational

This event will take place on February 24th 2018. All teams will be limited to 3 individuals per event, and one relay team per event. We have a brand new synthetic track with great facilities! There will be a full concession stand for convenience as well as the coach hospitality room we had last year. All venues are located in or right next to the track facility.

Awards will be given to the top 8 athletes and trophies will be given to the championship and runner-up teams. We will seed the top 16 girls and boys times in the 1600m to run in the finals and all other competitors will run in an unseeded 1600m. We will also seed the top 30 girls and boys in the 3200 to run in the finals, all others will run in an unseeded 3200. The 800 will be seeded through 36 athletes the rest will run in an unseeded 800.

We are looking forward to hosting this event and we are looking forward to great competition. The entry fee will be $75 per team or $120 per school. Checks need to be made out to St. Cloud High School. This meet will be limited to the first 32 schools that respond. 9:00 AM Consolation 800 (athletes not in the top 36 seeds) followed by the consolation 3200 (athletes not in the top 30 seeds) These are for the athletes whos marks did not make the top entries. - These races will not be officially timed. There will be a clock set up and started. The coaches and athletes are responsible for their own times. The winner of each consolation race will have their name and time written into the results just in case their mark is good enough to score.

11:00am Unseeded 1600 meter (athletes not in the top 24 seeds)

12:00pm Running Prelims 100/110 mh, 100m 4x100m relay, 400m, 300 mh, 200m

3:00pm Finals ( or 30 minutes after completion of the prelims)
