8. Sit and Kick Hurdles?!
A sit and kick hurdles race is strange enough already, but one between two of the best hurdlers in the country is even stranger. Gabriele Cunningham and Ebony Williams faced off at the North Carolina state meet. One of them spotted the other a huge lead, there was a wild comeback, and they posted two of the five fastest times of the year--all in the span of a hundred meters.
