A Florida girl has qualified for Foot Locker Nationals 30 times in the 37 year history of the event.
This is the eighteenth time Florida has sent two or more qualifiers in a given year.
Florida was on a two year drought prior to Amanda Beach and Bailey Hertenstein's qualification this year. Previously, they had had the longest run in Florida history for qualifiers. It ran 11 years- 2003-2013.
There are 56 Florida girls from 35 schools who have qualified for Foot Locker Nationals.
Amanda Beach is in 6 way tie for 22nd highest place finish.
Bailey Hertenstein is in a 13 way tie for 36th highest place finish.
They both became the first qualifiers from their schools.
Amanda Beach's time of 17:31.10 was the 21st fastest time in Foot Locker South History. She was the 32nd senior to qualify and the eleventh fastest time by a senior.
Bailey Hertenstein's 17:41.20 was the 28th fastest time in Foot Locker History. She was the 17th junior to qualify and recorded the eleventh fastest time by a junior.
