Miami Northwestern Runs US #1 3:12.28 4x400m at Guy Thomas

We hyped the "Bring Back the Mile, but the boys from Miami Northwestern stole the show yesterday at the Guy Thomas Memorial Classic."  We had to wait for the last running event of the day, but for those that stayed, the boys' 4x400m relay saw Christopher Columbus and Miami Northwestern put on a show with the Miami Northwestern boys running a current new US #1 3:12.28 and Columbus a US #3 3:13.40.

Christopher Columbus led the first two legs of the race, with Columbus holding a 20m lead at the end of the second leg.

Tywan Cox of Northwestern ran a blistering 45.55 to give Northwestern a lead at the end of the 3rd leg, and J'Vari Flowers closed it out, running a 47.52 anchor leg for the Northwestern boys.  Savanie Davis and Jaymes Lawhorn ran the first two legs for the Northwestern squad.

The Christopher Columbus squad was composed of Zamarion Lawson, Alec Cruz, Justin Weaver, and Adrian Cardero
