Interview: Jeff Masterson, Gator Invitational Boys Winner

MB: How'd it go today?
JM: It was a great course. It's new and it changed quite a bit. There's definitely more hills. We all thought that the storm was going to come through, but it didn't. It was a perfect day for running.

MB: Some people are questioning the accuracy of this course. What did you think about that?
JM: I think it's because they changed it around it's definitely accurate; especially with the hills. It definitely felt like a true 5k.

MB: How's training coming along?
JM: Training is going great! My miles are good. I'm feeling good, I'm not sick. I'm doing great!

MB: How's the rest of the team?
JM: The team is doing very good. Today was a tough meet for us. We wanted to do better than we did, but we're coming back. We can't look back at this and get mad at ourselves. We just have to learn from it.

MB: What do you think about your shot at the individual title now with Alex Miletich moving up to 3A?
JM: That's going to be a good race!
