What was your most memorable meet?
My most memorable meet would have to be the state meet because it was my first time comepeting there. Also, the Brian Jaeger Elite Classic where I jumped a personal best. of 13'0 last year and jumped 15'1 this year.
Who is your biggest competition?
My biggest competitor over the years has been myself.
What was your greatest accomplishment?
My greatest accomplishment would be winning the state meet (Co-Champion along with Cayman Ellis).
If you could do it all over again what would you change about your vaulting career in high school?
If I could do it over again, I would probably have started earlier (I started as a sophomore). God has a plan for us though so maybe I wouldn't have changed anything.
What will you miss the most?
I will miss my team (coaches and athletes) the most. We have all grown together this year and it has showed and I'm going to miss them.
What advice you would give to younger athletes?
I would advise younger athletes to put in the extra time to train even harder and to listen to their coaches.
Who would you like to say thank you to?
I would like to thank Coach Greer (Olympia's head track coach) for putting me in pole vaulting in the first place and believing in me. Also, thank you to my pole vault Coach Bobby Haeck (Pole Vault City) for teaching me how to pole vault.
What are your college plans?
I am going to pole vault at UNF and I have currently not decided my major.
