1:15 p.m.: We left from lunch and went out to load the bus. When we got to the bus, a huge, colorful banner covered the front that said, "SCA Loves Cross Country". We finished loading the bus and got on. As we pulled out of the parking lot, the whole school lined the sidewalks, cheering and chanting for us. It was great to have the whole school supporting us. We waved goodbye and we were off!
5:25 p.m.: We took a stop at Zaxby's for dinner.
11:05 p.m.: We finally arrived at The All-Star Sports Resort at Walt Disney World!!! We were glad to be there.
12:40 a.m.: We finally got into our rooms after a long check-in process. Everyone was so tired and we pretty much went straight to bed.

    Friday, Oct. 6
9:30 a.m.: All the girls met up and walked around the resort! It was so cool! There were huge footballs, baseballs, and basketball goals everywhere. We went to the football section and played on the football field. We had so much fun!
11 a.m.: We left the resort to go eat lunch.
1:30 a.m.: We arrived at the All-Stars Sports Café to eat lunch. It was a really cool restaurant. We got to play this fun trivia game at our table and compete with other people in the restaurant while we waited on our food to get there.
1:15 p.m.: We went to the place where the race was going to be. We set up our tent and just relaxed and checked out the course. All the girls got our hair French braided so we would match! We looked so cute!
3 p.m.: The JV girls ran. The race was very interesting because one of our runners, Rachel Coffey, had her best time while many others struggled in the heat and humidity.
3:40 p.m.:The varsity boys ran. In this race, it was very obvious that the heat and humidity was affecting them. Clearly, Florida schools had a big advantage because they were used to that kind of weather.
4:10 p.m.: The varsity girls ran. The course was really nice because it was so flat, but back in the woods there was a lot of sand that slowed us down. Also it was about 90 degrees and very humid, which made it a lot harder. My time was 23:24, which is slower than I had hoped to run on such a flat course. Our team finished 12th out of 20 teams.
5:45 p.m.: We left the meet and went back to the resort to shower and get ready.
7 p.m.: We were now free to go to Downtown Disney or do whatever we wanted with our families. I went with all my friends to the House of Blues in downtown Disney. We had so much fun and we went shopping afterwards. We left downtown 11 that night and went back to the resort.

    Saturday, Oct. 7
6:30 a.m.: We woke up and ran for 25 minutes around the resort. After that we went back to our rooms to shower and get ready.
8:15 a.m.: We met in the lobby and loaded all of our stuff onto the bus to go to the theme park, and then back home.
9 a.m.: We entered Islands of Adventure and spent the day there. We had so much fun! We got to ride all the roller coasters and other rides until 3:45 that afternoon, when we met back up at the bus. My favorite ride was The Hulk. I rode it five times! It was so fast!
3:45 p.m.: We left the park and began our journey home. We had a great time in Orlando and I hope we can go back next year.
