
South Fork will gather a strong group of teams from around south Florida for the Fleet Feet Invitational. This is always one of the top invitationals in October, with a lot great little touches to go with the strong competition.
The course itself is one of the tougher ones that many face during the season. It yields times that tend to be 30-45 seconds slower than "PR courses", largely due to the sandy areas.
The girls field especially is looking very strong, especially on an individual basis. Julia Montgomery is the hands down favorite here after a strong performance at flrunners. However, there is an outside threat here that the virtual meet doesn't fully lay out. And that is Daesha Rogers, who has only been on our radar once so far this year. It was earlier in the season and at Larry & Penny, so give her a few weeks and level the playing field and it could look a lot closer.
