BRASOVAN SETS NEW STATE RECORD
Ashley Brasovan, coming off a 4:55 2nd place finish in the 1600m to Emilie Amaro, Brasovan came out of the gate kickin! Her first mile split in the 3200m was a blazing 5:02. She ended up with a 10:13.45 All-Time State Record (not just state meet record) bettering Betty Jo Spring's legendary time of 10:13.6 (converted from 2mile) in 1979!
