The Sunshine State doesn't have a ton of performances logged in this early indoor season. That won't come for several weeks until the only indoor meet in Florida takes place at the Jimmy Carnes in Gainesville. However, some athletes have headed out of state for some early season tune ups. Miami Southridge sophomore Symone Mason (pictured above) headed to Alabama with her South Florida Express teammates to test their skills at the Indoor Alumni Age Group Invitational in Birmingham. Mason, who was a state qualifier in the 200 and 400 meter dash last season, clocked a US#1 time of 25.24 to win the 200m dash, and also posted a US#3 mark of 7.65 in the 60m dash.
