How long have you been running and how did you get started?
My brother, two sisters and my mom were all involved in running or track. When I was 10 I ran my first official race, which was a one mile fun run sponsored by First Place Sports.
Do you remember your first real race?
My first real race was my team's 5k time trail in Tallahassee the summer of my freshman year.
How is your summer training going?
Summer training is going great. The team has made great improvements since last year and we look forward to a successful season.
What is your favorite workout?
My favorite workout is flying 30's.
Which meets will you be running in this year?
My team will be competing in various DCPS meets and invitationals such as FSU/Pre-State, Battle of Atlanta, and the Bale n Trail Classic.
Do you have a favorite course? What do you think is the toughest course in the state?
The Flagler County Fairgrounds (Spikes and Spurs) is my favorite course, the toughest course in the state to me is the state course
Out of all your running accomplishments so far, which stands out the most?
Being a part of my teams travel squad to states my freshman year and seeing them place 2nd in the state meet.
What are your goals for the upcoming cross country season?
The goals are to help my team reach states and bring home a championship.
What do you love most about running?
The thing I love most about running is, running along side my teammates during practice, and during meets.

Do you have any pre-race rituals or routines?
Warm up with the team and our usual stretching routine.
What is your favorite food?
Fettuccine Alfredo.
What brand of shoes do you train/race in?
I train in Mizuno and race in Nike spikes.
What professional athlete would you like to meet the most?
Drew Brees.
What is something most people don't know about you?
I can't even bench press my own weight.
Lastly, if you were stranded on an island with three things what would they be?
I'd bring my running shoes, my cat, and food.
