Hallandale's Calvin Golson isn't at the number one spot in the 400m dash just yet. Golson opened up at the LSU High School Classic and won in a FL#3 time of 50.06 which is less then one-tenth of a second behind Trevor Wilson and Tariq Evans. (Northeast senior and LSU signee Damion Thomas left no doubt why he is one of the nation's top hurdlers. Thomas won the 60mH at the Texas A&M High School Indoor Classic in a US#2 time of 7.92s.)
