Hurricane Irma left the cross country calendar bleak to put it mildly. With few invitationals still on statewide, they became magnets for teams looking to get in races. Over two dozen teams will head to the Villages for the Buffalo Invitational.

Girls Meet Preview

The girls field is loaded with talent. Five girls have broke 19 minutes while 13 have gone under 20, and 29 runners have broken 21 minutes. Pretty impressive considering we haven't had a ton of meets this season. The fastest time belongs to Citrus Park Christian freshman Jaqueline Abanses who won the Babe Zaharias Twilight Challenge in 18:26.00....
