One of the best races in state meet history at the ARP took place last year between Caleb Pottorff and Charles Hicks of Bolles. Pottorff went onto win in 15:08.12 and later signed with FSU, while Hicks ran 15:09.13 and returns for his junior season and a chance at his first state title. Their times are the second and third fastest ever at Apalachee Regional Park behind only Sukhi Khosla who ran 15:01.80 to win the 3A state title in 2014.
