Track & Field Top 500: Boys 400m - Jamal Walton Second HS Athlete Ever Under 45s

Miramar's Jamal Walton became the second high school athlete ever under 45 seconds in the 400m dash when he ran 44.99 to win the Pan-Am Junior Championships. Walton, the 4A state champion, and Brooks PR Champion in the same event, went onto represent the Cayman Islands at the IAAF World Championships where he advanced to the semifinals.
