Mt. Dora Christian Academy's Cooper Monn has been consistent in her throwing career. She won the FLYRA MS State Championship as an 8th grader, was the 1A runner-up in the discus as a freshman, third as a sophomore, and champion last year as a junior. Three girls in the state of Florida have thrown over 140 feet with Northwestern's Chanel Dawson having the longest toss of 154'11". That mark is over six feet better than her nearest competitor.
