Eudaly's Excellent Season Opener

Mary Ellen Eudaly is your girls performer of the week.

The HB Plant freshman had her first high school performance, placing first at the B3R Sports Invitational in a time of 19:04.

Eudaly is racing in different uniform this year. The former Bayshore Project standout, had her first recorded cross country season last year and has a 3000m cross country PR of 11:27 on the notoriously difficult, Holloway Park.

This past track season, Eudaly continued to race for the Bayshore Project and focused on the 1500m running a time of 4:56 at the Middle School State meet and running a 1600m PR of 5:24 earlier in the season.

As just an eighth grader, Eudaly's performances have been amongst the top in the state and it looks like she will continue to be a fantastic competitor, now on the high school scene.

Eudaly's 19:04 season opener puts her at number 3 for the top freshman in the state, top 10 for 4A girls, and top 30 across all classifications, talk about a fast freshman!

Eudaly leads the HB Plant girls along with teammates Olivia Manno, Arlie Rubin, and Harley Hill. HB Plant finished second at the B3R Sports Invitational to fellow 4A competitors, Newsome HS.

This past weekend's performance puts HB Plant top three for 4A teams across the state. With this being Eudaly's first high school performance, she will be an exciting competitor to watch as we head into the latter half of the season.
