Rylee Pustilnik (left), Matthew Bryan (middle), and Megan Hughes (right) are three of Florida's top cross country and track athletes that have earned all-state academic team honors for their performance in the classroom. Pustilnik and Hughes plan on running at the next level for the University of Florida and Notre Dame come fall.
Florida cross country and track athletes are very well represented on the Florida Dairy Farmers Academic All-State Team.
The FHSAA announced it's annual all-state academic team that honors 24 hard working student-athletes with a scholarship and commemorative medallion. Out of the 24 award recipients, 12 have been on varsity cross country and/or track teams during their high school career.
