The junior from Bolles has run 17:36, 17:38, and 17:36 in her last 3 races including a stellar runner-up 17:36 performance in the elite race at the FSU Pre-State Meet to lead her squad to a runner-up podium finish as well. Both runner and team are in the driver seat to be 2A state champions on the podium come November for the FHSAAA State Finals.
The big reason that teams travel to Tallahassee to compete at the FSU Pre-State Invitational every year is a chance to preview the state meet course as well as to measure up just before championship season starts against the top teams and individuals in their respective classification who they will see again at season's end on the same course.
