Throwback Thursday: Rheinhardt Harrison State Record 3200

WATCH Bolles Mile Showcase LIVE

On this date one year ago, Rheinhardt Harrison of Nease set the Florida high school 3200 meter state record with an 8:47.43 performance at the Bolles Last Chance Meet. Harrison also helped pace his teammate Anderson Ball (2nd, 8:58) to join him under the 9-minute barrier. Full story on that race here

Ironically, Harrison will be competing on the same track at the Bolles School in Jacksonville tomorrow but at the full mile distance in the Bolles Mile Showcase, which starts at 6 PM with the fastest seeded sections races to be run later in the evening. Harrison also owns the state record at that distance as well with personal bests of 4:01.05 indoors and 4:01.34 outdoors. The race will be live-streamed right here on fl.milesplit.com.
