The Naples girls made one of the biggest jumps from our preseason to week #1 rankings going from unranked to #9 overall in the state after a strong runner-up finish behind only Osceola (Seminole) in their opener at the Dunbar Tiger Jamboree. They averaged 20:26 as a squad in that race down in Fort Myers, which matched up well against many of the top teams who raced on a faster Cecil Field course this past Friday.
