While Creekside's Alyson Johnson was certainly one of Florida's best freshmen in cross country last fall, she took her running up another level over the track season both indoor and outdoor to be considered one of Florida's best distance runners regardless of grade heading into the upcoming 2023 cross country season. Johnson won the 4A state track titles in both the 1600 and 3200 meters this past spring including owning the Florida's fastest 3200 meter time among returnees at 10:23 to go along with her 4:50 1600 meter best which ranks third fastest.

Taking this past outdoor season season best times at 1600/3200 meters and combining for a total time amongst Florida's returning girls XC runners for the 2023.
