The 1A girls classification for this cross country season looks to be one of the most competitive team battles in Florida for the two state meet podium spots. Between last year's state champions Oak Hall School and last year's state runners-up Cambridge Christian along with two other loaded squads in Maclay School and Pensacola Christian, there will be two very deserving teams that will not get on the podium in November unfortunately. Cambridge Christian is looking to get back on top again after winning in 2021 as they should be favored after the transfer of sub 11 two miler Ava Hendrix during the track season.
