Nease senior Matt Ryan just missed joining an elite company of sub 15 minute performers at Apalachee Regional Park with his 15:00.90 third place finish in the elite race at the FSU Pre-State Invitational and only solidfying himself as the favorite to repeat as the 4A state champion this fall. The next closest 4A finishers in the race were Hagerty senior Jonathan Leon in fifth place and Buchholz senior Riley Smith in seventh place with personal best times of 15:15 and 15:18 respectively for both.
