The Cox Twins run US #1 & #3 200m at Sam Burley!

Miami Nortwestern Jr.'s Tyra and Tywan Cox shared the spotlight in the 200m at the Sam Burley Hall of Fame Invitational running US #1 and #3's!  Tyra got our fast and was not challenged, running a 23.47 (FAT/Wind Legal).

In the boy's race, So. Zamari Samuels of American Heritage was out fast but pulled up in the curve and Cox went to the lead, running a 21.47 (FAT/Wind Legal).  In the Prelims Samuels had run a US #1 20.97.

The other US #1 came on Friday evening when the Dillard girls went 8:58.50in the 4x880m.  It was also a FL #1 All-Time performance. 

In addition to the US #1's, the meet produced another 16 US Top Ten times.

US #3 Girl's 2x200m Miami Southridge 1:37.19

US #2 Boy's 4x200 Miami Northwestern 1:24.19 Miami Southridge was 2nd in 1:24.44.  They currently hold the US #1 with a 1:23.57.

US #3 Girl's 100mH  Jr. Aleesha Samuels Somerset Academy Pembroke Pines 13.71.  (prelims)  US #1 is tied with a 13.65.

US #3 Boy's 4x100m American Heritage 40.42.

US #4 Girl's 400mH Jr. Kashia Hoo Miami Northwestern 1:00.79

US #5 Girl's 400mH Sr. Takiyah Ferguson  Miami Southridge 1:01.34 (prelims)

US #7 Girl's 400mH Sr. Kakalia Hoo Miami Northwestern 1:01.56

US #8 Girl's 400mH Jr. Arian Allen Aquinas 1:01.81 (prelims)

US #9 Girl's 400mH Sr. Amaiya Samuel Am Heritage 1:01.97(prelims)

Boys 400mH So. D'Andre Ward Christopher Columbu won in 55.25.  He currently has a US #7 ranking of 55.25.
