Previewing Saturday's Races At FSU Relays

Heat Sheets and Live Results

Girls 4x800 Relay

It is always difficult to predict at major relays the 4x800s.  So much depends on how the teams are loaded.  In the 4x8, Fl #4, 5, 9, and 12 all come in with sub-10:00 times this season.
#4     9:39.29 Buchholz HS Bolles Bulldog Classic 1st

#9     9:45.32 Spruce Creek HS Bob Hayes High School Invitational 1st
#12   9:51.22 Niceville HS  River City Relays Classic 1st

Boys 4x800m Relay

Belen Jesuit is ranked FL #1 with a 7:55.01.  They have great distance depth and it will depend on who is on the squad.  Loaded, they would be tough to beat.  Christopher Columbus is the #2 ranked FL team and the only other team with a sub-8:00 time this season.
GA #2   Westminster School 8:04.31
FL #5    Montverde 8:06.57

FL #7    Bishop Kenny HS 8:06.84
FL #11  Fleming Island HS 8:08.79

Montverde Sr. Alivia Williams should be the favorite.  She was dominant indoors in the 400 and is ranked FL #1 with a 52.88.  Her teammate So. Nakira Hudson is FL #3 with a 54.51.
