Join us weekly as Buchholz Sr. and University of Florida commit, Riley Smith chronicles his weekly journey through the remainder of his HS career. Smith was off this week and did not run in the Alachua County Championships as he is nursing "some teaks in his left leg."
"I have had some tweaks in my left leg that I've been tending to this week and have put a lot of my work into cross training, primarily swimming. I don't think this will be a prolonged issue and I should be fully back on track soon. My team went to counties this past weekend and I did not race. Our Buchholz team is looking great at this time. I will be building up to peak in June when most of the big championships races are as I get back into running form. I'm still undecided on my exact schedule and what meets I will attend."
