Zamarii Sanders is the Florida MileSplit Sophomore Boy's Track & Field Athlete of the Year. Sanders, who recently announced a transfer to Cardinal Newman for his Junior year, was #2 ranked in all divisions in the 100 and 200m races and the State 3A Champion in the 200m with a 20.58. He also ran the anchor leg on the American Heritage boy's record 39.39 All-Time Florida record 4x100m Relay. He followed that up with a win in the 100m at the NBNO (10.27) and a 2nd in the 200 at the NBNO (20.75).
