Elijah Smith of Hollywood, FL went 7.75m (25-05.24) to win AAU Junior Olympic Men's 17-18 Long Jump. The recent Miramar High School graduate was just off the 2012 meet record of 7.79 (25-06.50) set in 2012 by Johnny Carter of Bakersfield, CA. Smith finished 2nd FHSAA 4A Long Jump this year with a jump of 7.27m (23-10.25).
