As we get ready for the indoor season in Florida, Bolles HS's Parker Adams has one final cross country race to run. The senior caps off his high school cross country career as Florida's sole representative in tomorrows 24th Foot Locker National Cross Country Championship at Balboa Park in San Diego. Adams had a standout senior season winning the FHSAA 2A state championship, running 13th at Nike Cross Nationals Southeast Regional in a 15:06.11 PR, and 10th at the Footlocker South Regional to qualify for the national championships.
The Foot Locker Cross Country Championship features 40 of some of the nations top boys and girls who qualified through regional races. The event began in 1979 as the Kinney Cross Country Championships and was re-named the Foot Locker Cross Country Championships in 1993. The Girls Race is at 9:15 a.m. and the Boys Race at 10:00 a.m. (PST).
