The 2025 Florida indoor season finally went into full swing over the weekend, with some of our Florida athletes making a statement on the National stage.
The IMG girls ran a U.S. No. 1 4x800 at the VA Showcase. The team of Ava Nebel, Daniell Graham, Mackenzie Winning, and Aurora Bertelsen Del Solar ran 9:13.94.
Lauren Kirby of Somerset Pembroke Pines, the Florida State record holder, threw a U.S. #3, 15.03 (49-3.75) in the Shot Put at the Jimmy Carnes Invitational.
Kai Martin of the Cambridge (Christian) School ran a U.S. #8 1 Mile in 4:12.65 at the Jimmy Carnes Invitational.
Jozef Miesak, running for Wind Speed Athletics, ran a U.S. #4 47.18 400m in his win at the Jimmy Carnes Invitational.
