GIRLS HIGHLIGHTS
Octavious Freeman (Lake Wales) continued her winning ways by taking two gold again this week, following her huge performance at the Florida Elite All-Comers last week. This week it was the 55 meter race where she beat out Atarah Clark of Evans 6.92 to 7.22. That 55m time, like her 60m time last week, is equivalent of the second fastest time in the nation (compared to the 55m distance indoors). In the 200 Freeman won easily in 24.89.
Ansley Gebben posted an impressive 40.96 win in the 300.
Cara Eleya of Lake Region a big 11-0 leap to win the pole vault by two feet.
Niaja Griffin of Wekiva swept the horizontal jumps: 17-2.5 and 37-7.
BOYS HIGHLIGHTS
Victor Colbert won the 55m in 6.67 and the 300m in 35.55.
Diego Blanton of Lake Mary looked good with a 4:24.21 win in the 1500 to go along with his runner-up finish in the 600 (1:30.87).
Javon Davis of Evans won the 55H convincingly in 7.85.
