Eighth grader Annabella Tomasic of Lake Highland Prep was almost unbeatable in the 2023 cross country season, capping the season off with a 17:32.90 5K in her 2A state win. She struggled in the outdoor season that year, finishing 5th in the 2A 3200m with a 10:53. She started to bounce back last dall with a third in the 2A state Cross Country meet with an 18:15.20. She is undefeated in the 3200m this spring with a a No. 2 2A ranking of 10:27.41. She has also posted a 3:53.08 1600m.
