Nicholas Henderson (Calvary Christian, Class of 2030)
Nichola Henderson has speed with a sub-24 200m, but it's not just his MS No. 2 ranking in the 200m that is impressive; it is his 400m strength as an eighth-grader that is impressive. He has already clocked 53.11 this season at the Ellis Elite 16 Track and Field Invitational at the high school level.
- 200m: 23.73 (w)
- 400m: 54.05 (#2 MS in Florida)
GIRLS
Alexandrea Fraser (IMG Academy, Class of 2030)
If you watched the FSU Relays, you saw an eighth-grader close strong in the 800m to run the 3rd fastest girls' 800m in the state. Her 2:09.07 is impressive and was a breakthrough performance. She ran a 2:12.97 and a 56.47 indoors this year and was 3rd in last year's 2A girls FHSAA Outdoor State Finals with a 2:13.25. She's already, and it will be interesting to see what she does next.
- 800m: 2:09.07 (#3 in Florida - ALL levels)
- Indoor 800m: 2:12.97
- Indoor 400m: 56.47
