TRACK FEST FORMAT 2011-2012

This format was selected by a vote from each middle school. A school is only allowed entry for those students from the team that is participating in an event.

Entries
Each team is allowed (2) two entries per individual event.
Each team is allowed (1) one relay per grade (6th, 7th, & 8th) level. Students must run on his or her grade level. Each team is allowed to identify one alternate entry per relay team.

Limitations
(2) two open events per student plus (1) one relay.
(1) one field event per student.

Each team is allowed only (2) two entries (2 girls and 2 boys) per event. The track meet is no longer by grade level.
There are only deletions allowed - no additions on the day of the meet.

Entry:The middle school meet will be scheduled on line; the web site is http://fl.milesplit.com. Online Entry Forms are due before the end of the school day 12:00pm (noon) on Thursday, May 10, 2012.

Event Help: Each school is asked to provide 1 (one) adult to assist with field events.

Shot Put: The boys and girls both compete with an 8 lb. shot put, NO EXCEPTIONS.

Important: Athlete must be in school track uniform or will be disqualified from competition.
No late entries allowed. Only scratches are allowed on day of event.

Admission: $3.00 for adults and $2.00 for students

Food: No glass containers of any kind. Schools and athletes may bring in coolers for athletes with food and drink.

Please bring trash bags to clean your own area.

Tents: Schools allowed to bring own tents to provide shade for athletes. Schools may set up tents on Friday night.
