8 & Under (born 2005+)* 2 km (1.24 miles) Girls 11:20 p.m. Boys - 11:50 p.m
advance from Regional Meet to the National XC Junior Olympics Championship being held in San Antonio,
TX on Dec 14, 2013.
** Some races may be run together, but will be scored separately. Decision will be based on number of entries
for these age divisions
ENTRY FEES & DEADLINES: On-line Registration: Must be completed by November 12, 2013. Only
online entries will be accepted. Please visit http://usatfregistration.com/track/entry/fl_usaxcyouth14 to enter.
Individual Entries: $10.00 per athlete.
Team Entries: No charge
COURSE: The walk-thru will begin at 7:10 AM. Course will be closed at 7:45 AM
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Valid 2013 USATF Membership and Proof of Birth is required for
participation.
Individuals: Current USATF membership is required to compete. Proof of Birth (copy of birth certificate,
passport, certified baptismal record, drivers license, or U.S. government identification) is required and
must be submitted Pam Betz at pambetz@aol.com or fax to 407-876-4467 prior to registration and
participation.
Teams: Only registered USATF member clubs may enter a team. All athletes representing the club
must be affiliated with that club as part of their USATF membership. To enter a team, a club must
complete the team entry/declaration process during online registrations. Only athletes listed on the
team declaration roster will be eligible to represent the club at the Association, Regional or National
championships.
TEAM SCORING: 8 athletes on the team entry/declaration form may be declared as scoring athletes. The
top 5 finishers among the declared runners will score.
COMPETITION BIB NUMBERS: All competitors must wear their assigned bib numbers during competition,
chest-high on the front of their jerseys. Do Not tear off strips. Bib numbers will be distributed to athletes at
race site on Sunday morning, November 17, 2013 at 7:00 a.m.
EVENT RESULTS: During competition, event results will be posted at www.florida.usatf.org. In addition,
event results will be posted at www.coacho.com and www.usatf.org.
AWARDS: USATF Junior Olympic medals will be awarded to the top twenty (2) individuals in each age
division. The top two (2) teams in each division will receive medals.
ADVANCEMENTS: Top 30 individuals and top 5 teams in each age group will advance to the USATF
Region 4 Championships to be held on November 23, 2013 in Fayetteville, GA.
All advancements/entry for the USATF Region 4 Championships must be completed, paid for, and
submitted online. Online entries may be submitted by visiting
http://usatfregistration.com/track/entry/ga_usaxcregion04. The National Championships will be held on
Saturday, December 14th at the National Shooting Complex in San Antonio, Texas. The top 30 athletes and
5 teams at the Region 4 Championships will qualify for the National Championships. Information is

12th at 11:59 p.m. Late entries will not be allowed. Online registration opens November 4, 2013. Fees
must be paid online by the close of registration. USATF prefers VISA; electronic checks will also be
accepted. Accuracy of data entered is the responsibility of each club and/or athlete. Please validate data
