Runners Kick Off Season At TFA Royal Open

Mount Dora Bible seventh grader Rebecca Clark takes home titles in both the 800 and 320 meter runs. She is one of a handful of double event winners including TFA's Teahna Daniels (100,200) and Ashlee Newsome (600, 1600) while Gateway junior Daja Clayton swept the hurdles. On the boys side, Terry Jernigan won both the 100 and 200, LCS senior Jake Gandy took both hurdles, and defending 1A Cross Country Finals champion Franco Martins picked up his first two wins of the year in the 1600 and 3200.
