Everyone Welcome!
Come run, come all! The Jewish Community Center of the Greater Palm Beaches is now accepting registrations for its 4th Annual Hanukkah Community 5K Torch Run, a USTAF-sanctioned and chip-timed event that includes $1,000 in cash prizes to the best overall male and female.
(1st place $250; 2nd place $175; 3rd place $75)
Awards will be presented to the top three runners in each of the following age groups:
14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74 and 75 +.
Additional awards presented to:
1st Place Masters Male & Female
The Torch Run is set for Sunday, Dec. 17, 2006, at 7:30 a.m. in front of the Harriet Himmel Theatre at CityPlace, located in downtown West Palm Beach, rain or shine. Event registration will begin promptly at 6:00 a.m.
Registration through Dec. 8 is $20 for adults and $15 for children ages 14 and under. From Dec. 9-17, registration is $28 for adults and $20 for children ages 14 and under.
