From South Florida to Jacksonville week five of the season didn't disappoint. The Bob Hayes Invitational had the most "WOW" performances of the weekend, but so did South Florida's GMAC & BCAA Championships earlier in the week, and the IMG Academy Invitational that mother nature tried to mess with. Fresh off a trip to New York City for New Balance Nationals Indoor, Tyrese Cooper will look for his first conference titles at the GMAC Championships in Miami. Cooper, has the fastest qualifying times in the 200 and 400, and is second in the 100 behind Booker T.'s Tyquan Thornton. We merged the results from both the north and south qualifiers to give you a taste of what Tuesday's championship could look like!
Miami Northwestern junior Twanisha Terry was first in the 100 and second in the 200m at last year's GMAC Championship and is the top seed in both coming into Tuesday's championship. She'll be tested by the Southridge duo of Shaniya Williams and Symone Mason. We merged the results of both the south and north qualifiers to see who has the top/marks to beat.
