Meet Information
Spoto High School is hosting the Spoto Spartan Invitational on Saturday, February 20th, 2016. Teams competing will be: Armwood, Bloomingdale, Chamberlain, East Bay, Freedom, Gaither, Lakewood Ranch, Manatee, Newsome, Plant City, Riverview, Robinson, Spoto, Strawberry Crest, Tampa Bay HEAT, and Tampa Prep. All Entries will be done on fl.milesplit.com

Location: Spoto High School
Time: The meet will begin at 9:00 a.m.
Entry Fee: $125 per school (boys & girls combined) $80 if only bringing boys or girls
Must be school issued check made out to Spoto High School or cash. Fees must be paid before meet date or make arrangements for day of meet payment no exceptions.
Scoring: 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 Relays: 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1
Timing: FinishLynx fully automatic timing will be used for all races.
Entry Limits: Each school will be allowed to enter 2 athletes in each individual event and 1 relay team per relay event.
Track Conditions: Synthetic rubber surface on track, runways and jumping surfaces - 1/4 inch (or less) pyramid spikes ONLY. Spikes will be checked. No spikes will be available for purchase. Track marking must be done with half tennis balls, which will not be provided (no tape or chalk). Concrete throwing circles.
Starting Blocks: Starting blocks will be provided.
Points of Interest: All field events will be closed after the event is over. No practicing in these event areas will be permitted.
Awards: Trophies will be awarded to the team champion and runner-up. Medals will be awarded to the top 3 in each event.
Admission Price: $5.00
Parking: $2.00 per vehicle
Concessions: Spoto Athletics and Kona Ice will be on site selling a variety of food and drinks.
