Schools:
> Deltona HS, East River HS, Edgewater HS, Mainland HS, Matanzas HS, New Smyrna Beach HS, Pine Ridge HS, Seabreeze HS
Advancement:
> The top 4 teams and top 15 individuals from a race of 7-9 schools qualify for the regional championship meet.
Race Course:
> @ New Smyrna Beach HS, 1015 10th Street, New Smyrna Beach, FL
FHSAA Admission:
> $6 per person
Parking:
> at the teacher parking lot at the dead end of Ingham Road
Bathrooms:
> located next to the concession stand near the finish line. Athletes may use the locker room facilities located near the start line.
Uniforms:
> make sure all 7 are matching and are as close as possible.
Entry Limits:
"4.5.2.3.1 Teams. A team shall be composed of five (5) to ten (10) runners during the district round and five (5) to seven (7) runners during succeeding rounds. Schools that enter fewer than five (5) runners, and schools from which fewer than five (5) runners finish the race, at any Florida High School State Championship Series meet shall not be eligible for team honors. Individual contestants from such schools, however, may earn individual awards."
Packets:
> Team packets can be picked up on race morning. Each race bib will be labeled with the athlete's name,have an RFIDtag affixed to it, and should be worn on thechest area of the uniformtop. 4 safety pins are tobe used to secure thebib.Unclaimed bibs w/ tags are to be returned to J7 Sports.
RFID tags will be recollected in thefinish chute.
Watches:
> NO GPS watches / standard stopwatch function only watches
Concession & T-shirts:
> NSB XC parents will be selling drinks and various breakfast items as well as FHSAA District T-Shirts. T-Shirts are $22 and cash only. Only 70 shirts will be ordered - plan on buying upon your arrival! (Coaches - names are due immediately for t-shirtscreen.)
