FLRUNNERS.COM INVITATIONAL 20 2019

The largest cross country race in Florida is back at Holloway Park for the 20th edition. Please read through the information below.

Because of the nature of this event, there will not be an onsite coaches meeting. All information will be sent via email. Please make sure that you have an email listed for both coaches if your school has separate boys and girls coaches.

MEET PROGRAM

MEET INFORMATION:

*** All High Schools MUST be members of their states association in order to compete ***

You may runup to ten (10)in the Varsity races.PLEASEreturn your chips immediately after your race to the same area that you picked them up. When you pick up your packet please make sure you have all your chips and bibs for your athletes.

COLLEGE COACHES:

The women will race a 5K and the men will race an 8K.

ENTRY FEES:

College - $100 per gender

Varsity - $100 per gender

REGISTRATION:

Registration ends at 11:59 PM on September 22, 2019.THERE WILL BE NO ADDITIONS OR CHANGES AFTER THAT.We want to thank you for registering for the flrunners.com Invitational 20 which promises to have some great races.You can pay by credit card only.After you enter, you'll be able to print an invoice and pay online.

TENT AREA:

There will be signs located in the big field just to the right of the finish line straightway. Please keep all tents in this area.

WARM-UP AREA:

If you go to the right of the start line and about 200m up there will be trails that you can run and use to warm up before all races. This trail is plenty long enough so you do not have to worry about having enough area to warm up.

SCHEDULE:

Friday the gates will open at 1:00 pm and packet pick up beginning at 1:30. First race will begin at 3:20 and go every 20 minutes after that.

Saturday the gates will open 6:00 am and packet pick up will begin at 6:15. If you are in the area Friday, we highly encourage you to pick up packets on Friday. First race will be at 7:20.

AWARDS:

Individuals for the ROC 1 - 30 will get medals. For all other races to include JV 1 - 15 will get medals.

Teams - ROC1st -3rd; Varsity/College 1st & 2nd; JV/Middle School 1st.Results will be available on elitetiming.net.

PARKING:

Team vans, buses and coaches in cars will not be charged parking. BUT you must use Holloway Park Dr entrance off HWY 98/Bartow drive. As you come thru the gate, vans, buses and coaches will drive to the right (will be signs).

Coaches if you could have your orange 2019/2020 FHSAA Identification card with you that would be a huge help for the parking attendants if you are not coming by bus.

Team buses and vans parking will be on the left side of the park road after going thru the gates. Across from lake. It will be the same parking arrangement as previous years and what will be used for the Jim Ryun and Seffner Invite.

$10 per car.Cars may only use the Lakeland Highlands entrance.
