Woznicki, Stephens Win Citrus Summer Showdown

Laura Woznicki set a course record this morning in the girls race at the Citrus Summer Showdown. Woznicki, who runs for University of Tampa, beat out Jackie Waller-Watchtel who has won the race for the past three years. Laura's time of 18:17 breaks Waller-Watchtel's course/meet record. Jackie also broke the previous record for second with a time of 18:22. Next up, Lee Stephens (alumni of Land O Lakes and Florida Southern College) outran current Florida Southern runner Ben Martucci on the final straight to win with a time of 15:57 to 16:02.
