Dear Coach:
You and your track team are cordially invited to participate in the 1st Annual Dunbar
Tigers Classic Invitation. The meet will be held at Dunbar High School on Saturday, March 28, 2020.
This meet is sanctioned by Florida High School Activities Association and all FHSAA Rules and Regulation will bein effect.
For all running events-Schools can enter up to 4 athletes per event.
For all field events-Schools can enter up to 3 athletes:
Because of time constraints...Field events will max out at with top 32 entries.

8:30am Coaches meeting
9:00am Field events (Field events: 3 athletesper school, 3 attempts, finals only, no Pole Vault)
9:00am 3200m
10:30am National Anthem
11:00am (rolling schedule timed finals)
4x800 relay
100/110 high hurdles

*Drum Line Competition (4 schools only 30 minutes)

1600m (32 best times from 2020)
4x100 Cornbread Run (Shot putters and discus throwers only! a non-scoring event)

Registration: All Registration will be completedthrough www.directathletics.com.
Entries must be in by, Wednesday March 25th at 5 pm!
On race day, only scratches can be made, no substitutions or entries. Coaches are encouraged to make
scratches, as meet management will flow more smoothly on race day!
Admission: $5.00 per person (adult and school age students).
Entry fee: $125.00 per girl/boy team, $250.00 for both teams. (Coaches, please try to pay in advance, but if you need to bring your check with you...please deliver at the coaches meeting.)
Payment:Checks or money orders can be made out to Dunbar High School Track & Field.
Awards: Championship Team, Runner-up, & 3rd Place Team Trophies; MVP Girls & Boys; and Personalized Medals - Places 1st-3rd.
*Spikes no longer than 1/4" Pyramid will be permitted on our newly completed polyurethane track.
Coaches are requested to keep their athletes out of the track oval and/or off the football field.
ENTRIES must be submitted no later than Sunday, March 22, 2020. Include best times, heights and distances in meet competition on your online entry.
ONLY THE TOP 32 DISTANCES/HEIGHTS will be accepted for field events!
All HEATS and FLIGHTS will be ran as finals...no prelims! (There will be no Pole Vault at this meet)
