Meet Director, Hallandale Invitational

Dear Coaches:

You and your track teamsare cordially invited to participate in the 2nd Annual John Battle III All Star Track and Field Invitational

Track and Field Meet to be held at Hallandale H.S. Saturday, March 2, 2019.This meet is sanctioned by the FHSAA. All FHSAA track and field rules will be enforced.

Teams must register fo rthe meet through Flrunners.com. Each school will be limited to (4) contestants

in each individual running event, (3) contestants in each Shot Put, Discuss,Pole Vault, and High Jump, field events and (3) contestants in the Long Jump and Triple Jump.

Entry fee of $100.00 per team or $200.00 per school, $25.00 for individuals school must register

individual athlete, $25.00 late fee may be paid at the packet pick up during the coaches meeting.

Checks may be made payable to Hallandale H.S. Track & Field.

Parking: $5.00 and General Admission: $7.00 for the entire meet.

Entry Comp (3) Coaches are per team.

1. All PAYMENTS must be submitted no later than Thursday February 28, 2019,

$25.00 late fee.

2. ENTRY must be submitted no later than Wednesday February 27, 2019 by 12:00

noon. Include your athletes best times, heights, and distances in meet

competition for 2018 season on Floridarunners.com.

3. COACHES MEETING will be held at 8:00am Saturday March 2, 2019 in the north

bleachers.

4. Spikes no longer than 1/8 will be permitted on track. The discus and shot

put surfaces are made of concrete.

5. Starting height for Pole Vault will be 90 for boys and 80 for girls. The

starting height for High Jump will be 5'8 for boys and 4'8 for girls.

6. Coaches are requested to keep their athletes off the track and out of the

infield. Warm up area will be behind the athletes bleachers. Bleacher and tent

area will be available for teams.

7. The 4x800m relay will be run as a final promptly at 8:30am and Field Events

9:00am

8. All field events are final. Participants will be allowed (4) trials in the

LJ, TJ, DT, SP and CUTOFF marks will be determined after the first flight has

concluded.
