The River Ridge HS Cross Country program invites you and your teams to the FHSAA 3A District 11 Championship on Wednesday, October 28th at River Ridge High School, 11646 Town Center Road, New Port Richey, FL 34654
Race Schedule:
4:00PM Coaches Meeting at the finish line of the football field
Varsity Girls - 5:00PM
Varsity Boys - 5:35PM
Awards 6:15PM +/-
Course Description:
The 5K course will begin and end on the football field and will be run in a counter clockwise direction. It will feature roughly 40% paved roads or side walk and 60% grass and trails. The 1 and 1/2 loop course will be fun, challenging, and spectator friendly.
Parking:
Coaches/Team vans/Buses will be directed by our volunteers on where to park (1st entrance to the school). Spectators will park in the student parking lot at the front of the High School. Runners and spectators will enter the school gate by the auditorium and go straight back to the football field.
Entry fee: $6, You will need to be purchased on line through Gofan...info will be sent to the coaches. There will not be any "in person" ticket sales.
School Rules/Precautions:
Spectators and coaches must wear a mask at all times. Athletes should wear a mask unless they are preparing or running the race. Athletes must be in a mask for the awards presentations. Pasco school rules: No bags or outside food/drink allowed for spectators.
Timing:
Chip Timing through WARRIOR TIMING company.
Entries:
You must enter ALL athletes (SEL) in Home Campus by the state deadline (Oct 16, 2020)
Awards:
Champion and Runner Up trophies for top 2 Boys and Girls Teams
The RRHS football booster club will have the concession stand open.
