The 6th annual GJ Invitational event will take place on February 26th,2022. We are looking forward to hosting this event and we are looking forwardto great competition. The entry fee will be $125 per team or $175 per school.

All teams will be limited to 3entries per event. We have an outstanding synthetic track withgreat facilities! There will be a full concession stand for convenience. All venuesare located in or right next to the track facility.

Awards will be given to the top8 athletes and trophies will be given to the champion teams.

Coaches you will pick up yourteam packets at the top of the hill. Inthese packets will be wrist bands for the coaches and athletes. All spectators will enter through the homeside entrance and all teams will enter through the visitorside gate.

Concessions will be available.

Note:

Parents/ spectators will not be allowed in the team tent areas.

All calls will be made by event & gender. Girls first. Calls for boys willnot be made until we are near the end of the heats for the girls to avoid alarge gathering of athletes in the holding area.

1.All FHSAA rules will be ineffect. We will have a certified FHSAA Official on hand.

2. All athletes are to sit onthe visitor's side. The home side will be kept open for spectators. No athleteswill be allowed on the infield unless they are participating in an event.Athletes not in compliance will be disqualified. This includes coaches. HeadCoaches make sure any assistant coaches you have understand this. Athletes will

report ready to compete. This will be strictly enforced! Warm-ups are to takeplace behind the visitor stands.

3. The infield will beclosedto ALL except the competing athletes. Coaches, make sure yourathletes, friends and family know this. If an athlete not competing is caughton the infield they will be disqualified. Anyone else on the infield who is notsupposed to be will be escorted out of the facility.

4.There will be no coaches box for PoleVault. They will not be allowed in theinfield area. They will be able to standalong the fence that is located next to the track.

5. The track surface isrubber.1/4 Pyramid Spikes Only.

6. I will have officials to runthe field events.

There will not be a Coachesmeeting. All communication will be doneprior by email.The meet will start at

9:00 a.m.

Field Events (Finals only, 3attempts only, with exception of the HJ and PV. All field events will bemeasured in metric.

MEET SCHEDULE: We will berunning the events in the same order as the state series with a slightadjustment since we are doing timed running finals no prelims. All heats will be slow to fast.
