Meet Information

Date: September 25, 2021

College Men  (8K)7:20 a.m.

College  Women (5K)7:50 a.m.

High School Girls 8:15 a.m.

High School Boys 8:40 a.m.

JV Girls 9:05 a.m.

JV Boys 9:30 a.m.


Location:The meet will be held on the athletic fields of Embry-Riddle University in Daytona Beach

 Course:  The course is one of the most challenging in the state of Florida.It is a true cross country course including all types of terrains, well-groomed athletic fields, a 150-meter grass hill, mulch trails

and concrete.


Teams:  College teams will be unlimited in their entries. High School varsity races will be limited to 10 runners per team and to the first 25 teams. The JV races will be limited to the first 180 total entries.Top-5 will score with seven holding spaces.


Individuals:Unattached individuals will be allowed to compete in the college races. Schools may enter individuals

in any race in which they are eligible and do not have a full team.

Awards:Team trophies to the top-3 teams

Top-7 runners on the winning team in the high school varsity and college races will receive bags

Championship t-shirts given to the top 15 runners (JV/College) and top 25 runners (HS Varsity).

HS Divisions:There will be one High School race with 2 Divisions: Large School and Small School.Everyone will

run together.We will produce results for a small school race (1A/2A schools), large school race (3A/4A schools) and a combined result from the one race. Team awards will be: Large school champion, Small school

champion, Combined Runner-Up, Combined 3rd place.Bags will be given to both champions.Individual shirts will be given to the top 25 in the combined race.

 Fee: $70 per team per gender for high school varsity and $100 per gender per team for collegiate races. $20 per individual in any race

Registration:All entries must be received by 11:59 PM, Monday, September 20.All entries must be submitted online at http://directathletics.com.

High school and collegiate coaches are encouraged to have medical information on each athlete with them in case of emergency and to fill out a pre-meet form listing any athletes with medical concerns:







Amenities:Food including

bagels, bananas and water will be provided.


Parking:There will be

a $5 parking fee for all spectators.
